Both Gwen and André are specialist anesthesiologists.
This means that they are fully qualified doctors who have trained for 12 years, with five years of training exclusively in the practice of anaesthesia, intensive care and pain management, resuscitation and advanced life support.
Dr Gwen Morgan
Gwen is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, where she completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).

The following year she returned to South Africa to complete a year of Community Service before entering Specialist Anaesthesiology training, again at Wits. After completing her specialisation, she set up an anaesthetic training program in a very rural district of the North West Province before settling in George in the Western Cape, where she now works in Private Practice in Anaesthesiology and Pain medicine.
Gwen has a special interest in Regional Anaesthesia and is the current Vice-President of the South African Society of Regional Anaesthesiology (SASRA). She is also currently completing her MSc in Regional Anaesthesia at the University of East Anglia.
